The quick answers

Anything not here, call (916) 690-1210 — a real person picks up.

Memberships

What memberships are there, and what does each one include?

Three memberships, each offered at a Middle School tier and a HS/College tier. Same price either way — the tier decides which classes you book. Every membership also includes member pricing on position classes and private lessons, and full access to the Player Performance App.

  • Hitter — $250/mo: 4 hitting sessions a week (multiple time slots daily) and 3 strength training sessions a week with gym access.
  • Pitcher — $250/mo: 1 pitching class a week with live bullpen, 3 strength training sessions a week with gym access, and 1 private 30-minute pitching lesson a month.
  • Two-Way — $399/mo: 4 hitting sessions, 1 pitching class and 3 strength training sessions a week, and 1 private 30-minute lesson a month.
Is there a sign-up fee?

Yes — a one-time $150 initiation fee, charged with your first payment. It includes a Power Plant hat, a Power Plant shirt, and Bodacious Gripz batting gloves (Hitter), arm care bands (Pitcher), or both (Two-Way).

How does billing work?

Memberships are monthly and renew automatically on the same day each month until you cancel. Your card is charged on our website, app.baseballpowerplant.com — nothing is ever charged inside the app.

How do I cancel my membership?

On the website: Account → Manage membership → Cancel. Your membership stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. You keep any credits already granted, and you can undo the cancellation any time before the period ends. Membership payments are not refunded.

Middle School or HS/College — which tier is my player?

Middle School is grades 6–8; HS/College is high school and beyond. Classes are booked against your tier, so a middle-schooler books middle-school sessions. When your player moves up a grade, ask the front desk to move the plan — the price is the same.

Can I add classes to my membership?

Yes. Add-ons are monthly subscriptions on top of your membership, at the member price of $150/mo each: Hitting (4 sessions a week), or Infield, Pitching or Catching (1 session a week) — or Any Class, members only, 1 session a week in any discipline, $180/mo. Take two add-ons and $50 a month comes off.

Is there a free trial?

Every new player account gets a 14-day free trial of the app — the training programs, the schedule, and your Player Performance Rating. Classes during the trial are paid at guest prices; the trial does not include class credits.

I’m already a member through Swift. What happens now?

Nothing changes at the Plant. You’ll get an email to create your account on our site — use the same email address so we match you to your membership. Same plan, same price, same coaches; there is no initiation fee for Swift families, and your first charge with us lands on the date your current period ends.

Not a member?

Can I train without a membership?

Yes — everything is available à la carte, at standard (non-member) prices:

  • Drop-in class — $50. One class, any discipline: hitting, pitching, infield or catching.
  • Hitting — $200/mo. 4 sessions a week, 16 a month.
  • Infield, Pitching or Catching — $200/mo each. 1 session a week, 4 a month.
  • Private lessons — $75 per 30 minutes, $150 per hour. Members pay 20% less: $60 and $120.
  • Facility rentals — from $50 per half hour. Hitting cages $75 a half hour or $150 an hour, pitching lanes $50 and $100, the classroom $100 an hour; the whole facility is quoted on what you need. Arranged by phone with the front desk.
  • Gift cards — from $50. Bought as sessions, not dollars (one class is $50; four are $200), so nothing is left stranded and the credits never expire.

Credits

What is a credit?

One credit is one session. Credits are scoped to what they buy: a hitting credit books a hitting class, a pitching-class credit books a pitching class, a lesson credit books 30 minutes with a coach (an hour is two), and an Any Class credit books any class. Your Credits screen shows exactly what you hold, by type.

How many credits does my membership give me?

Weekly credits arrive at the start of each week; monthly ones at the start of each billing month. Hitter: 4 hitting + 3 strength a week. Pitcher: 1 pitching class + 3 strength a week, and 1 lesson a month. Two-Way: all of it — 4 hitting + 1 pitching class + 3 strength a week, and 1 lesson a month.

Do credits expire?

It depends on where they came from. When you book, the app always spends the credits that expire first, so you never lose one you could have used.

  • Membership credits expire. Weekly credits (hitting, strength, pitching class) are for that week; monthly credits (the lesson) are for that month. They do not roll over.
  • Add-on subscription credits expire at the end of each month’s billing period. A fresh set lands on each renewal.
  • Bought-outright credits never expire — the drop-in and lesson credits.
  • Gift card credits never expire.
Can I get a refund on credits?

Credits you bought outright and haven’t used can be refunded to your original card: Account → Credits → Request a refund. The front desk reviews it and the refund posts to your card within 5–10 business days. Membership and gift-card credits are not refundable.

I have two kids. Whose credits are whose?

Each player has their own credits. A membership grants credits to the player it’s for, and booking for that player spends from their balance — never a sibling’s. Your account shows every player’s balance side by side.

Booking

How do I book a class?

In the app (Book tab) or on the website (app.baseballpowerplant.com/book). Pick the player, pick the session. The schedule only shows what you can actually book — your tier, your credits, your membership — so there’s nothing to figure out.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 3 hours before the session and the credit goes straight back. Inside 3 hours, the session counts as used and the credit is not returned — the seat is too hard to fill that late. If the Plant cancels a session or closes, every credit is refunded automatically and you’re emailed.

The class is full. What now?

Join the waitlist — it costs nothing. When a seat opens it’s offered to the next family in line and held for 30 minutes; take it or it rolls to the next family. Inside the last 20 minutes before a class, an open seat goes to whoever books first. You’re notified the moment you’re up, and My Bookings shows your place in line.

How do private lessons work?

Lessons are requested, not slotted: pick a coach and a length (30 or 60 minutes) and the coach reaches out to set a time that works. One lesson credit covers 30 minutes; an hour is two. Pitcher and Two-Way memberships include one 30-minute lesson a month.

Will I get a confirmation?

Yes — an email for every booking and every cancellation, plus a reminder notification from the app before the session.

Waivers

Do I have to sign a waiver?

Yes. One signed waiver per person, before that person’s first booking — it is required to train at the Plant, member or not. You sign it once, in the app or on the website, with a typed signature; a PDF copy is kept in your account.

Who signs for a minor?

Only a parent or legal guardian may sign for a player under 18. A player under 18 cannot sign their own waiver, and cannot book until their guardian has signed. A parent with several players signs one waiver for each.

What if the waiver changes?

If the wording is updated you’ll be asked to sign the new version. There is a 14-day grace period — your existing signature keeps you booking while you re-sign, so a change never locks anyone out mid-season. After the grace period, booking waits for the new signature.

Where can I see or download the waiver I signed?

Website: Account → Liability Waiver lists every person under your account, when they signed, and a View PDF link.

Accounts & players

My player is under 13. How does their account work?

A parent or guardian creates and holds the account, and the player is added under it. The child does not sign in on their own — their sessions, credits and waiver all run through the guardian.

My player is 13–17. Can they have their own login?

Yes. The player enters a parent’s email at sign-up, which links the two accounts. The parent signs the waiver, can book and pay for the player, and sees their schedule and credits.

Can one parent manage more than one player?

Yes. Add each player under your account (Account → Your Players). Pick which player you’re booking for at the top of the schedule; each player’s membership, credits and waiver are their own.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete Account. A live membership must be cancelled first; managed children are removed with the guardian.

Payments

Where do I pay?

Everything — memberships, add-ons, credits, gift cards — is bought at app.baseballpowerplant.com with the same login as the app. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. There are no purchases inside the app.

How do gift cards work?

Buy one at app.baseballpowerplant.com/gift-cards, choosing what it’s for (for example, 4 hitting sessions). The recipient gets a code by email and redeems it on their account — a parent can redeem it onto a specific player. Gift credits never expire.

The app

What is the Player Performance App?

Your schedule, booking, credits and waiver — plus the training side: weekly Strength, Speed & Power, Mobility and Arm Care programs laid out by day with coaching cues and demo video, and your Player Performance Rating (PPR), one number for how much of the week’s work you actually did. Members also get a recruiting page — measurables, academics, schedule and film on one link a college coach can open, with Coach Activity showing who looked.

Where do I get it?

iPhone, on the App Store — it is in review now, and we will post the link the day it is approved. Sign in with the same email you use on the website.

The facility
